• Uncooked pasta:
  • 2 pieces of bow tie pasta for wings & skirt
  • 2 pieces of elbow macaroni for hands
• 14 mm round white pearl bead for head
• Transparent or silver-lined seed or rochaille beads for hair
• ¾-inch diameter gold plastic wedding ring for halo (found in the wedding section of most craft stores)
• ½-inch red or pink ribbon rose (or your favorite color)
• Paper plate or palette
• White pearl paint
• Clear glitter paint
• Small flat paint brush
• ¾-inch pin back
• White (tacky) glue

Finished Size: Approximately 2 inches tall × 1¾ inches across

Directions

1. Break one bow tie pasta piece in half crosswise. Use one half for the angel's skirt and save the remaining half for another angel.
2. The bow tie with a single indentation will become the front of the wings.
3. Paint all pasta and macaroni pieces with pearl paint. Apply additional coats as needed for complete coverage, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly.
4. Cover half of the pearl bead with glue. While still wet, roll the bead in seed or rochaille beads to create the angel's hair. Let dry.
5. Glue the narrow edge of the bow pasta "skirt" behind the center of the whole bow tie pasta "wings."
6. Glue the pearl head to the center top edge of the wings opposite the skirt, making sure the hair is on top.
7. Glue the macaroni pieces to the front center of the wings with the open ends meeting to form the hands.
8. Paint the wings with glitter paint and let dry.
9. Glue the ribbon rose between the hands and let dry.
10. Glue the pin back to the highest point on the back of the wings and let dry.
11. Glue the gold ring above the pin to form the halo.
12. Allow everything to dry completely. Your angel pin is ready to wear or may be wrapped as a gift.

• Package of plastic spoons (festive colors)
• Chocolate chips, melted
• Crushed peppermint candy or other hard Christmas candy

Directions

1. Dip clean spoons into melted chocolate.
2. Shake off the excess.
3. Place on wax paper and sprinkle with the crushed candy.
4. Allow to dry.
5. Wrap in cellophane and tie with ribbon.
6. Place several spoons into a coffee mug with individual hot cocoa or coffee packets for a quick little gift on cold nights.
